1. Introduction
By adding or interacting with the TackleBot Discord Bot ("the Bot", "we", "us", "our") in a Discord server or via direct message, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Bot, including all features, commands, updates, and related services.

2. Closed License
You are not allowed to replicate or use this codebase unless specified otherwise or as a contributor in the GitHub repository.
3. Third-Party Services
The Bot integrates with and utilizes the following third-party services and APIs to provide certain features. Your use of these features is also subject to the terms and policies of these third parties:
- Discord API: Essential for all Bot operations within the Discord platform. Governed by Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Google Generative AI (Gemini): Used solely for the
/summarycommand. Governed by Google's AI Principles and Privacy Policy. - Popcat API: Used for various
/funsubcommands (e.g.,fact,joke,imdb,sadcat,oogway,communist,whowouldwin,lulcat,opinion,ship,biden,pikachu,mock,8ball). - Noodles Wrapper (French Noodles API): Used for other
/funsubcommands (e.g.,meme,achievement,changemymind,awkwardmonkey,blur,burnpaper,drake,wide,uglyupclose). - Top.gg API & Webhooks: Used to track votes, manage streaks, and distribute rewards.
4. Compliance Requirements
4.1 Discord Terms of Service & Community Guidelines
You must adhere to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while interacting with the Bot. Violations may lead to enforcement actions by Discord or the development team.
4.2 Third-Party Service Terms
When using features that rely on third-party services (Google AI, Popcat, Noodles, Top.gg), you must also comply with their respective terms and policies, including restrictions on harmful content, intellectual property, and fair usage.
5. User Conduct
When using TackleBot, you agree not to:
- Engage in harassment, abuse, threats, or harmful behavior towards other users or the developers.
- Distribute spam, unauthorized advertising, illegal materials, or content that infringes intellectual property.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Bot's systems, data, or source code.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or impair the Bot's operation, stability, or security.
- Misuse moderation commands (
/kick,/ban,/clear,/moderator,/log,/fishwhitelist) or channel management features (/createchannel,/deletechannel). - Exploit, automate (botting), or manipulate the fishing game, gambling, achievement system, fishing company system, leaderboard rewards, or other features.
- Circumvent or interfere with the anti-bot verification system.
- Submit false, misleading, or malicious information through the bug reporting system.
Violation of these rules may result in temporary or permanent restrictions, removal of data, or reporting to Discord.
6. Data Usage and Privacy
The Bot collects and processes data necessary to function, including user IDs, server IDs, game progress, and temporarily processed content for specific commands. By using the Bot, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Feature-Specific Terms
7.1 Fishing Game
All fishing game progress is tied to your Discord User ID. Attempting to automate or exploit the game is prohibited and may result in penalties.
7.2 Voting (/vote) & Top.gg Integration
Voting on Top.gg is optional. Rewards (such as Voter Chests) are granted upon successful validation via Top.gg webhooks. DM reminders may be sent and can be disabled via provided buttons.
7.3 Moderation & Channel Management
Moderation commands are intended for authorized admins/moderators. Channel creators are responsible for compliance, while server staff retains management rights.
8. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Bot is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or suitability for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thromblo and the development team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Bot, inability to use the Bot, conduct of third parties, unauthorized access, or any errors and inaccuracies.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant updates will be communicated via the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, through commands like /announce. Continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Bot immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breaches of these Terms. Server administrators may remove the Bot from their servers at any time.
